Welcome to Comfert Shetlands website! We are a small farm located in NW Arkansas. We raise, show and train
our classic and foundation ponies. We have quality show shetlands and also have sweet, loving family ponies!!
A lot of people think a shetland pony is a short, fat, mean, stubborn pony. In fact, that is a very untrue statement!
To say all shetland ponies are mean is a close-minded statement. Shetlands are like any other of the equine breeds,
if untrained and given to a child that has no idea how to treat a horse, they can and sometimes have a bad attitude.
But if properly trained like any other horse, Shetlands are wonderful, LOVING, beautiful and very trainable animals.

HERE SHE IS!!!! Well, this is no "purebred" or anything to brag about, but
she SURE IS LOVED, which, all in all is all that matters right??
"Tinkerbelle" or "Tinker" as I call her, was born on 10-20-07 and I think is a grey. Her mom,
"Mini Me" is the only absolutely "priceless" animal on the place and is definately part of the family! Courtney
is so excited for Tinker to be here, this is Mini Me's last foal. I guess....sigh...we will be keeping her!
I would be hung if I said we had to sell her......
She is out of Mini Me, AMHR mare and a black/white
ASPC shetland stallion, Kid Latigo Lee. I suppose we will register her NSP, and Courtney said her registered name will
be "Courtney's Lil D Vine"....hmmmm, wonder where Court got that?? Mini Me's registered name is Sweetwaters

"Mini Me" is a 1996 grey 37 1/2" mini mare that is Courtney's best friend! They have a great time
together and do all sorts of stuff! Mini Me is a fantastic friend and is "tortured" by kids all the time.
She will ride anywhere, anytime, double, backwards, bareback, they slide off her rear to get off, etc. Every mothers
dream horse for her child!! Courtney and Mini Me as a team have won everything from a saddle, numerous belt buckles,
trophies, etc, as well as numerous open show high point awards and year end versitility pony awards!! They compete in
halter, showmanship, walk trot, western pleasure, barrels, poles, and the list goes on!

COMFERTS SHOT IN THE DARK, aka SHOOTER and Courtney. Shooter
really enjoys Courtneys company and she his! Shooter is a VERY sweet 07 colt that will make a FANTASTIC childrens pony.
He especially likes the kids leading him around and "jumping" him over curbs or logs on the ground! SHOOTER IS SOLD.
